A couple of things I run into most is that people assume I am also Mormon. It's the extra socializing, hanging out with residents, stopping by the hospital to visit his best friend. I get to experience the joys of his culture, which I never would have known otherwise. Don't think it's just women married to male physicians who suffer. The independent work is just as important as the work we do as a couple. Would she be okay with never being married in the temple. I don't know if it's worse for us: For me, it's been an inner battle with myself, should I follow my husband or should he follow me as I am one year ahead.
I wouldn't purposefully subject my daughters to that BS. There are other ways. Sadly, my ward shuns us. I love talking religion with him and I have never pressured him to change his habits or anything else about him. When out on a date with a Mormon guy or girl, be very decent, courteous, and well-mannered. When I taught GD we discussd the lessons. If you are not old enough to consider marriage, you should be careful about having a serious, exclusive relationship. If we do get married I may have to foot more of the bills. But, as someone posted earlier we did not marry a physician completely for the status and money, we also expect as should any wife love and respect. He says he hasn't loved me for the last 2 years and was only staying for the sake of the kids.
