Jodi Arias testified on Tuesday about the day she killed Travis Alexander, explaining how in the hours leading up to the fatal stabbing, the couple had engaged in explicit sex acts before he erupted in a violent outburst against her. Arias, 32, who took the stand for the seventh day, told jurors that Alexander took explicit photographs of her before holding her against a desk and performing a graphic sex act upon her on June 4, She was testifying about the final day she spent with Alexander at his home in Mesa, Arizona. Arias has admitted to stabbing her on-off boyfriend 27 times, slitting his throat and shooting him in the head in what she claims is self-defense. She faces the death penalty if convicted of first-degree murder. Arias appeared in court on Tuesday morning wearing a button-up, white shirt and watched jurors closely as they entered, adopting her typical pose of her hands clasped in front of her. And there were indeed some lies, to put it mildly. Arias would at first claim she had nothing to do with Alexander's death, that she wasn't even in town. Then she told police that intruders had broken into the house, murdered Travis and attacked her, but she got away. Arias ultimately spent an unprecedented 18 days on the stand testifying during the trial.
